9549 - Pre-requisite: Must complete entrance assessment (TABE).

An entry-level course designed to provide students with training necessary to gain employment in today’s office environment. This training provides the opportunity to train for a new career in the business field or to upgrade and improve current skills. Students will get Microsoft Office training along with business math and recordkeeping, business communications and filing. . Upon completion, students will be capable of working in an entry-level clerical position such as receptionist, bank teller, customer service representative, data entry employee, etc. Training will also encompass job-marketing skills such as resume writing, interviewing and self-presentation.
