The Career Development Council is developing and coordinating programs which enable meaningful and relevant learning experiences for students of all ages and which focus on skills needed to succeed in the workplace or in post-secondary education.

Our programs fall under three broad categories:
School-based Learning Project-based Learning Work Simulations Classroom Speakers Mentoring	Connecting Activities Regional Clearinghouse for business contacts Staff Development related to Career Development and Occupational Studies Technical Assistance Working Worlds-Educator workshops held at local business and industry sites	Work-based Learning Service learning integrated into the curriculum Job shadowing Internships Career-related Field trips
