Welcome to the GST BOCES Teacher Certification web page! We provide information about NYS teacher certification requirements as well as evaluating complete credentials and recommending candidates to NYSED for certification.

This office provides service to those living in our GST BOCES region and those employed in our 21 component school districts. Candidates are asked to work with their local BOCES for questions and to apply for certification.

A signed evaluation is your evidence that you have submitted materials for certification. If you do not receive a certificate within two months and I submitted your materials, please contact me and I will check the status of your application with NYSED.
