The Academy of Digital Media Arts is a unique hands-on technology based program for high school students that want to explore the many career areas available in today's most dynamic and rapidly growing visual communications related fields.

Visual communications is one of the largest employment fields in our information and communication based society. According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, over the next few years, internet and graphic media related fields are among the top 20 fastest growing career sectors in the US.

The Academy of Digital Media Arts program is a first step toward a career in the future of publishing, graphic design, illustration, photography, advertising, product design, or the new digital media fields of Web development, game design, computer animated films, television, motion picture special effects and many related areas.

Our program blends traditional design principles, composition, color theory and typography, with advanced technical skills using the latest professional graphic equipment and high end software.

Advanced Studies: Utilizing project based hands-on learning, students focus their career interests by selecting several advanced studies in areas such as Commercial and Studio Photography, Video Production, Advanced Web design, 3d Art and Animation, Special Effects, Audio Production and more.

Certification: Our students can earn valuable, professional certifications in IC3, Web design and software certifications from Adobe. Employers today are seeking people who are certified because it is a concrete method of validating a level of knowledge and skill in a given field.

College Credit: Having developed broad foundation skills and a more focused career plan, our graduates easily transition into a successful post-secondary degree program. Several area colleges provide advanced placement credits for students who enroll in design-related degree programs from our course. Also, students who pass the IC3 certification may obtain ACE college credit recognized by thousands of schools.
