Fashion Design and Retail -- Available at the Bush campus only

Fashion Design and Retail gives students hands-on instruction in the field of fashion design and retailing. Students will focus on computer-aided fashion drawing, fashion construction and production methods, pattern manipulation, textile technology and retail display.  Fashion Design is a technical discipline centered around materials, design, assembly and maintenance of textile machinery and products manufactured by this machinery.

This program covers defined units of study giving students the knowledge and skills needed to seek employment or further their education in the design and manufacturing of clothing. Topics include clothing construction, advanced dressmaking, tailoring, clothing design, flat-pattern making, draping, basic design, fashion history and textiles.
