New Visions Programs
Health Careers - Bush Campus Only
New Visions students are typically accelerated college-bound seniors who wish to pursue a career in the health care field. This advanced-level, one-year course allows you to spend half of your school day at an actual work site exploring careers in the wide range of health care settings while working toward senior academic credit.

Rotation sites include Arnot Ogden Medical Center, St. Joseph's Hospital and local physicians' offices. Students are provided with hands-on workplace experiences.
Classes meet school days from 9-11 a.m. or from noon-2 p.m.
New Visions integrates English, Economics, Participation in Government and career exploration, for which you can receive four credits (1 English, .5 Economics, .5 Participation in Government and 2 Occupational Education).
New Visions students develop career plans and integrated projects based on knowledge acquired and documented through experiential learning. They learn to use proper terminology, relate academic subjects to professions studied and conduct themselves in the safe, professional manner expected in their chosen fields.
