New Visions Programs
Communication & Media Careers - Bush Campus Only

Students interested in New Visions are typically accelerated college-bound seniors who wish to pursue a career in media or communications. This advanced-level, one-year course allows you to spend half of your school day at an actual work site exploring careers in media communications while working toward senior academic credit. Your classroom time will be supplemented with local on-site rotations. Classes meet each school day from 8-11 a.m.

New Visions integrates English, Economics, Participation in Government and career exploration, for which you can receive four credits (1 English, .5 Economics, .5 Participation in Government and 2 Occupational Education).

New Visions students develop career plans and integrated projects based on knowledge acquired and documented through experiential learning. They learn to use proper terminology, relate academic subjects to professions studied and conduct themselves in the safe, professional manner expected in their chosen fields.
