Welding and Metal Fabrication -- Available at the Bush Campus only

Welding students learn a great career on the safe procedures for welding and the recognition of metals. You will learn proper safety and the care and use of small hand and power tools used in the trade of metal fabrication. You will have the opportunity to develop skills in reading and understanding blueprints. Training takes place in a safe and authentic environment.

Our goal is to prepare students for employment in the welding field by offering effective hands-on and classroom training to meet local industrial standards.

Course Content:
  • Basic Gas Tungsten Arc Welding/Advanced Gas Metal Arc & Gas Tungsten Arc Welding
  • Introduction to Welding: Oxyacetylene & Arc Welding/Basic Shielded Metal Arc Welding: Fast Freeze Group
  • Advanced Shielded Metal Arc Welding: Low Hydrogen Group/Basic Gas Metal Arc Welding: MIG
  • Advanced Shielded Metal Arc Welding/Welder Certification
