This service provides assistance in representing school districts in personnel and labor-related matters. Subscribing districts using these services benefit from professional labor relations representation, personnel administration advisement, in-service training and access to the most up-to-date information and data on labor-related issues.
Our Mission
The mission of the Employee/Labor Relations Service is to provide:
- Assistance in representing school districts in personnel and labor-related matters.
- Professional labor relations representation, personnel administration advisement, in-service training, and access to the most up-to-date information and data on personnel and labor-related issues.
As part of our service we provide:
- Negotiations - traditional at-table, research, win-win, contract language, salary schedules, memoranda of agreements.
- Personnel - hiring, discipline and discharge, layoffs, take backs, takeovers, seniority, sexual harassment, investigations.
- Contract administration - grievances, arbitrations, past practice, language interpretation.
- Other - PERB, Civil Service, administrative and government agencies, Health Care Plan
