The Data Warehouse service provides integration of information from Student Management applications and other Student Data systems. The warehouse transforms data into standard formats and data values needed statewide. There are four types of data stored in the warehouse: student demographics, enrollment, program services and assessments. All the warehouse data statewide is aggregated for analysis and reporting.

To assist our component districts in the SED data reporting mandates GST RIC Data Warehouse team has worked with the Student Management System (SASI) team to create custom Atoms and fields in SASI. A data extract utility has been developed to capture the required data elements from SASI to populate Level 0. The data extract utility is customizable based on specific district needs.

Currently, GST RIC coordinates what was LEAP reporting through the Data Warehouse; after the 2005 – 2006 STEP reporting cycle is completed all future STEP reporting will also be coordinated through the Data Warehouse.
