VDIR
The Violent and Disruptive Incident Reporting (VDIR) Database is a database used to collect and report violent and disruptive incidents to SED. This database uses electronic forms that look just like the paper forms that the state uses to record data about violent and disruptive incidents that occur in schools. The database reports data on an incident basis (as required by the state). Individual incidents are entered into the database and the summary reports are produced automatically.
VDIR can be deployed either as a stand-alone application in a single school, or as a networked application on the LAN. VDIR uses Microsoft Access (ver. 2000 or later) as a front-end (screens), and either Access or SQL server for the backend (data). Included in the database are links to the States website.
