Social Studies Homework Policy
1. Homework will be assigned on average 3 times a week.
2. All homework should be in black or blue ink and have the following heading:

3. Extra credit will be given to those who type up written assignments.
4. Late homework will not receive any credit; however, it must be completed (see #6).
5. If two consecutive assignments in a row are not completed, the student will call their parents and inform them they have not done the last 2 homework assignments.
6. If you owe any assignments at the time a test or quiz is given, the grade will not be recorded until the homework is turned in! If you fail to turn in the assignment you will receive zero credit on your test or quiz grade!
7. No bonus points will be given for typing up an assignment if it is late!
Homework is a necessary part of the learning process. If it is continuously not done or late it will affect your grade!
Grading
Grades will be based on a point system as follows:
Participation: 10% 100 points
Homework: 25% 250 points
Quizzes: 30% 300 points
Tests and Projects: 35% 350 points
