GST BOCES Adult Education and Career Services serves adult students in the Southern Tier of New York State and the surrounding region. Whether you're interested in training for a new career, earning your high school diploma or looking for a new hobby, we have a course that will meet your needs. We also offer computer training and on-site, customized courses to meet the needs of local business and industry.
We have three convenient locations: the Bush Campus in Elmira, the Coopers Campus in Painted Post and the Wildwood Campus in Hornell.

Site visit scheduled for GST BOCES
The Council on Occupational Education (COE) will conduct an on-site review of the Greater Southern Tier BOCES Adult Education and Training Services programs from October 1 to 4.
BOCES is seeking re-accreditation from the council and is participating in a comprehensive review process designed to ensure the quality of its programs.
The council offers quality assurance service to postsecondary workforce education providers across the country.
COE accreditation allows participating BOCES programs to be eligible to receive Title IV Financial Aid.

Students complete Accelerated Machinist Partnership Program
Five adult students recently graduated from the Accelerated Machinist Partnership (AMP) Program at GST BOCES. Graduates were Jacob Hostrander, Avram Liebson, David Houghton, Stanley Jerzak (not pictured) and Andrew Stermer.
AMP was developed by GST BOCES Adult Education and Career Services, CSS Workforce NY and WDI (Workforce Development Institute) at the request of local employers. The program offers an enhanced machining program to adult students in the area that includes 440 hours of classroom instruction at GST BOCES and 280 hours of hands-on experience at local businesses.
