Adult Education is excited to share that we have been approved to offer a Barbering Program! This 600 hour New York State approved program prepares students to take their written and practical NYS licensure examination. Our first class is scheduled to start on January 23, 2024 and end January 15, 2025. The class will meet every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9am-2pm. Classes will be help at our Baldwin St. Campus in Elmira, NY. The cost of the program is $9,400 + $100 enrollment fee. This program is not yet eligible for Federal Financial Aid.
The TABE assessment is required for any incoming students. This is a free reading and math assessment and is offered at various locations weekly. Once you have successfully completed the TABE, a non-refundable $100 enrollment fee is required to secure your spot in the class.
