The Greater Southern Tier BOCES Career and Technical Education Program at the Bush Campus in Elmira extends a heartfelt thank you to our incredible business and industry partners for supporting our students during this year’s Business & Industry Interview Day.
We were proud to welcome 75 professionals from 55 local businesses who volunteered their time and expertise to conduct simulated interviews with senior students enrolled in 13 different CTE programs. Your participation gave students a powerful, real-world learning experience that simply cannot be replicated in the classroom alone.
Through these interviews, employers had the opportunity to:
Learn more about GST BOCES CTE programs
Meet and assess prospective graduates and future employees
Provide meaningful feedback on students’ job-seeking and interview skills
At the same time, students gained invaluable insight into:
Local businesses and career pathways
Job roles and expectations
Hiring processes and workplace professionalism
