This week, about 20 of our team members rolled up their sleeves and learned how to adapt toys so they can be activated with a switch—opening the door to play for students who can’t use traditional push‑button toys.
Huge thanks to Cornell Assistive Technologies, who guided us through every step, provided all the materials, and even sent us home with the toys we adapted! Their team also brought along several prototype adapted grasps for writing utensils, giving us the chance to try them out and offer feedback.
This collaboration has been such a meaningful partnership—one that’s already making a difference in accessibility, creativity, and student engagement. 💡💛
Here’s to continuing to build inclusive opportunities together!
