✨ Students in the Spotlight at Wildwood! ✨
The Wildwood New Visions programs recently welcomed Component School Counselors and Principals for an immersive, hands-on showcase — and our students truly took the lead.
From guiding interactive activities to sharing their learning experiences, students demonstrated the skills, confidence, and real-world knowledge they’ve been building all year. The energy in the room was contagious, filled with collaboration, exploration, and authentic excitement.
Seeing these programs in action highlighted not only student growth, but the power of learning when students are empowered to lead. 👏🎓

Career Development Council partnered with the Corning Museum of Glass in November to host CMoG Career Day for almost 100 local students. The day gave students a behind-the-scenes look at careers in everything from art conservation and marketing to graphic design and security management. They got to chat in small groups with career experts, watch a hot glass demo, and enjoy a guided museum tour—making it a fun and inspiring learning experience for everyone! Our thanks to everyone at CMoG for helping make this event so special!

Big shoutout to our Wildwood Campus teams for coming together in a powerful way! 🎁✨

📚 Over 35 librarians from GST and TST came together this week for a powerful day of learning, collaboration, and professional growth!
As a statewide workshop centered on the ALA Core Values of Librarianship, GST proudly served as a host site—bringing educators together to strengthen the future of library programming across our region.
One speaker captured the heart of the day perfectly: “The library is the biggest classroom in our schools.”
That spirit fueled conversations, idea-sharing, and reflection as librarians explored new ways to elevate services for students and staff.
A great day of connection. A strong step forward for our libraries. And an exciting glimpse into what’s possible when we learn together. 📖✨ #PROUDTOBEGST #GSTBOCEScollaboration #GSTBOCESservice

New Visions Engineering had another amazing guest speaker today! Students were challenged to research, design, and build a paper airplane in just eight minutes—after doing quick research to figure out the best approach. Once their designs were ready, they put them to the test in the hallway, discovering firsthand how shape, structure, and intention all impact speed and performance.
Emily, Product Design Engineer at Siemens Energy also shared her college journey, career path, and the experiences that shaped her success. She asked students about their future goals and majors, and they had great questions of their own.
We were even invited to tour Siemens Energy in January—another exciting opportunity for our future engineers!
A huge thank-you to Emily Miller for spending time with New Visions Engineering students. You’ve inspired them more than you know! ✨✈️🚀
