New Visions Engineering teamed up with the Welding program on our Wildwood Campus for an awesome hands-on experience! Students kicked things off with a quick intro to all three welding processes, then shadowed welding students before getting the chance to weld a project of their own.
We loved being on campus collaborating with the Welding program—and our students cannot wait to go back for more! A huge thank you to Ms. Crawford and all of the welding students for sharing their time, skills, and expertise with us. We truly appreciate it! 👏

🌟 What are the PAMSYS?
They’re a fun, interactive, “social event of the season” designed to help students build confidence, strengthen public‑speaking skills, and express their creativity in a supportive environment.
Our New Visions scholars create their own award categories, announce the nominees, and introduce the winners—while the winners craft and deliver their own acceptance speeches. It’s a blend of teamwork, humor, professionalism, and plenty of personality!
👗✨ The Event:
Held over two days in January, students dress in formal or semi‑formal attire to make the experience truly special. Each program brings its own flair, making the celebration unique and memorable for everyone involved.
We are so proud of our New Visions students for embracing this project with enthusiasm, creativity, and confidence. 💙

Our students are always on the move—exploring careers, building skills, and discovering the incredible opportunities available right here in our own community.
📽️ Last week, we watched a powerful documentary that highlighted barriers—like limited resources—that can prevent students from reaching their full potential. It sparked meaningful conversations about equity, access, and the role future educators can play in creating change.
📚 Earlier this week, students dove into the world of education theory! They researched influential education theorists and presented their findings to classmates—building confidence, communication skills, and a deeper understanding of teaching and learning.
🏫 And today, we wrapped up a three‑week rotation at a local middle school! Students gained real-world experience, made connections with educators, and got an inside look at what it truly means to support young learners.
💡 Exploration. Experience. Growth.
That’s what New Visions is all about.
